Earlier this year I had a Hanami-themed exhibition at Auran Gallery in Turku. In this exhibition, my child was lying under the cherry trees in one of the paintings called Sleeping Beauty. She has now gotten up. I hope she stays on her feet. This was a really terrible phase in my life too, even though the drug problem was hers. I needed to escape in my thoughts as far away as possible to survive - I escaped by painting so beautiful paintings as I possible could. These Hanami-themed paintings were also supposed to be in my exhibition in Helsinki in December 2025. But the life moves on and I suddenly didn't want this exhibition again. I painted a new exhibition. It is now on view at Galleria A2, Annankatu 12, Helsinki until 28.12.2025
